Terms of Service – Hacienda Carey

Welcome to Hacienda Carey. By booking or participating in any of our horseback rides or touristic activities in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in this document. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Company Overview

Hacienda Carey offers horseback riding experiences and other touristic activities along the beautiful beaches of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. All services are subject to the following Terms of Service.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All reservations must be made through our official booking platform, Checkfront.

  • We accept credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity are eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund. Partial refunds may be considered case-by-case.

  • If Hacienda Carey must cancel an activity for any reason (e.g., weather, safety), a full refund will be issued, or guests may choose to reschedule.

  • No-shows (guests who do not attend without prior notice) are not eligible for a refund.

4. Participant Requirements

  • Participants must be between the ages of 8 and 99 years old.

  • All participants are required to sign a waiver and release of liability prior to the start of the activity.

  • Guests must be in adequate physical health to participate safely in horseback riding.

5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

  • Guests acknowledge that horseback riding involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury or exposure to unpredictable animal behavior or terrain.

  • By participating, guests accept full responsibility for any personal injury or damage that may occur and release Hacienda Carey from liability.

  • A signed waiver is mandatory before participation.

6. Company Rights & Safety

  • Hacienda Carey reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose participation may pose a risk to themselves, others, or the animals.

  • We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful, abusive, intoxicated, or reckless behavior.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel activities due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other operational issues.

7. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to:

  • Treat staff, animals, and fellow participants with respect at all times.

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by Hacienda Carey staff.

  • Refrain from any behavior that may compromise the safety of the tour or others.

8. Privacy

We collect limited personal information (such as your name, contact details, and booking information) to process your reservation. Your data is stored securely and not shared with third parties unless required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

9. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction

Any disputes or legal claims arising from participation in our activities shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Parties agree to resolve any conflict in a competent court within Puerto Rico.

10. Changes to Terms

Hacienda Carey reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting on our website or booking platform. Continued use of our services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
